G O D

God is a sticky subject. I spent the first 37 years of my life resisting GOD. While my family wasn’t religious per se, I would go to church with friends in order to have sleep overs and experienced many people throughout my life forcing their story of GOD on me.

It made feel alllllllll the heebie jeebies.

So naturally, I avoided GOD like the plague.

While I’ve always believed in energy, the supernatural, woo, and have always been pyschic I started using the Universe synonymously with GOD. My way of still being ‘open’ without actually connecting with the energy of GOD.

Until earlier this year.

My life was in many ways in shambles. One day while meditating a thought came through my mind. “Connect with the energy of GOD.”

As a sat on my meditation pillow, my aventurine mala in my left hand, I closed my eyes and asked for the presence of GOD to make itself known to me.

What happened next was nothing short of miraculous.

I felt a warm golden light fill my entire body. My muscles melted. I felt so supported, so loved, so at peace. I realized this is something I’ve always had access to yet had always resisted.

The incredible thing I realized about this energy is that this is the same exact feeling as the love I feel from heart space opening. I spent my entire life closed off at the core of my heart, and consequently spent my entire life looking for love from all the places it wasn’t…. outside of me. Because your outer world is a reflection of your inner world, and my inner world was closed off to love, I found myself continuously getting into relationships and experiences that were void of that deep love I’d longed for my entire life.

When I connect with the energy of GOD I realize this energy is within me. I can call on it and immerse myself in it any moment in every day. It’s always there, and it’s always been there. How could I miss the thing I’ve wanted my entire life, that I already had and I resisted so much?!

The truth is, I believe you have too.

As I continued to connect with this energy and call on it multiple times a day my life has completely transformed. I recognize that I am the miracle of GOD. God is love, made of me, and made of love.

When I asked for the energy of the Universe to make itself known to me I experienced something very different. All loving, yes… but so different. The Universe is the delivery system. GOD is love. What you vibrate out you get back from the Universe. Whether it be fear, worry, excitement or joy. GOD is love and only love. GOD is the realm of miracles. The Universe is the realm of manifestation… the delivery system. Like a highway filled with delivery trucks on their way to and from you. Far from synonymous entities, these are very separate energies that work together. I now believe it is impossible to be fully connected and an open channel without being connected to GOD first. Connect with GOD and you are connected to the U. But being connected to the U doesn’t mean you are connected with GOD.

The thing that has blown my mind in my work with my clients is this…. THEY ALL FEEL IT THE SAME WAY!!

Every single person I’ve led to connect with GOD has felt it the same way, this warm golden honey like energy that flows from within and fills them with love. These incredible women I get to work with have ALL felt the relief this energy brings, as well as the grief from being disconnected for so long.

But here’s the thing, love. Love is love… and it’s the greatest healer of all.

When you connect with God you connect with love…

You connect with YOU.

You realize that there is no separation. YOU ARE GOD. And when you disconnect from GOD you disconnect from love, you disconnect from yourself.

So my encouragement for you is to reconnect.

Reconnect with GOD.

Reconnect with LOVE.

Reconnect with YOU.

There is no greater gift you can give yourself than the gift of true unconditional love.

GOD will always be there.

And if you’re incredible resistant like I was for the first 37 years of my life, I encourage you to try this even more.

Every day for a month connect with this energy and see how your life transforms.

This practice transcends religion. And yet, it goes along with it.

So whether you’re like me and resisted GOD in an effort to resist religion, OR you have a solid religious practice, this will work for you.

BE GOD.

BE LOVE.

BE YOU.

You already are, you just have to connect :-)
